After Action Report: Terminator 3 Area 48 4/28/2012

Excellent day of airsofting with the new layout! So many players showed up to give their support, overall a very exciting and successful day.

Game 1

First game, deathmatch, seemed to be pretty even. Both SKY and HR were feeling out the other team and learning the new field. The tall grass provided a means to covertly get from building to building, something Skynet used in the following games.

Game 2

Human Resistance to attack the Skynet outpost. HR was put in a headlock by Skynet early on. Pushing up the hill proved to be difficult for them and even when a Terminator portaled in on the HR team SKY was just too strong. We paused and reset the game, which resulted in an EPIC battle. HR took the game following the reset thanks to a well shot mortar that decimated the SKY team in the Killhouse.

Game 3

HR to blow the central core at Skynet. This was a long game that could have gone either way in the beginning. HR took the first house handily, set off the charge and proceeded to try and full on attack the killhouse without destroying the power station first. Bad news HR!!! Skynet ended up cornering the attacking team with the help of their sentry gunners and the Terminator.

Game 4

Last game of the day, people were tired but happy. Pretty evenly matched and some great killhouse action, hard to say which side was the victor.
